Daisy is DNA tested clear of MLS, NCCD, IGS, Lafora, Factor VII, POAG, PRA-CORD1, PRA-crd4, PRA-PRCD, PKLR, DM, OI, and all other genetic health disorders.

Daisy gained her KC Stud Book Number in August 2022 at Paignton Championship Show. This means she is now qualified for Crufts for life!

Daisy is our foundation bitch and very special to us all. She has shown and won/placed many times at shows across the South of England. Her pedigree is superb and consists of no less than 33 Champions in the first 5 generations alone, with these made up of British, Spanish, Polish, German, Dutch, American, Finnish and other International Champions. Additionally if you go right the way back in her pedigree you find that she in fact descends from my Great Aunt Joan Whitton’s Tavernmews breeding. This fact was a real plus for me as in a way it means we can carry on what she was doing through our own dogs.

Daisy made headlines around the world in 2019 when she adopted two kittens, developing milk and nursing them as if they were her own. She appeared in 4 National newspapers in the UK as well as having a viral video online and appearing in articles for People magazine and other US outlets. Since then Daisy has grown her own Instagram and Twitter following who watched her relationship with the kittens who to this day at now almost 2 yrs old, still firmly believe they are her ‘babies’ and sleep with her every chance they get as well as being bathed by her. One of the even became babysitter to her puppies when she had a litter in early 2021.

The relationship she had with the kittens is quite extraordinary and she extends that to our other cats as well as she simply adores them. All of our dogs and cats get on like family however Daisy is always the mum. In 2021 we were proud to be able to welcome Daisy’s own litter (sired by Elvis) and were not disappointed. The mix worked beautifully with the pairing complimenting each other perfectly. The two boys in the litter are now in fabulous adoring homes and we retained the sole girl in the litter (Lily). In September 2022 we were thrilled to welcome Daisy’s 2nd and final litter again by Elvis.

Above everything Daisy is our baby and wins hearts wherever she goes with her youthful looks and bonny attitude. She is a firm family dog, choosing a different human slave to meet her every whim and is never happier than when she gets to disappear under a duvet! Daisy has now qualified herself for Crufts for 2 years in a row (2022 & 2023) as well as now having won her KC Stud Book Number which means she is now qualified for life!.

11th May 2019. TUNBRIDGE WELL & DISTRICT CS OPEN SHOW. 2nd Puppy under Judge Simon Burton. Whitton’s Tabula Rasa of Haggatty. This 9 months blanket tri had a good skull shape and appealing eye. A little shorter in muzzle than 1 so not the quite the same pleasing proportions in head. Has a good lay of shoulder but preferred the upper arm of 1. Good body and rear assembly with another well set and carried stern. Moves freely with drive from behind but not quite the reach in front of 1

19th May 2019. GRAVESEND & MEDWAY TOWN OPEN SHOW. 2nd Puppy under Ciaran Howell.  Whitton’s Tabula Rasa Of Haggatty. Another smart baby. Pleasing head, round bone tight feet. Good depth of body. Well angulated. Moved well.

31st May 2019. SOUTHERN COUNTIES BEAGLE CLUB OPEN SHOW. 1st Junior under Judge Sue Finnett. 1 Whitton’s Tabula Rosa Of Haggatty, just 9 mo a pretty tri girl with a good outline, topline and depth. Would like a touch more length in muzzle. She has moderate, but adequate, hind angulation but tends to be stood a little over stretched behind. None the less she moved well in profile and coming and going.

3rd October 2021. BECKENHAM CANINE ASSOCIATION OPEN SHOW. 2nd Post Graduate under Judge Vikki Cook. Compact and balanced demonstrating many qualities of the breed standard. Classic head and expression, pleasing angulation, spring and depth. Moved merrily and had an excellent rapport with handler. 

16th October 2021. CRYSTAL PALACE CANINE ASSOCIATION OPEN SHOW. 1st Post Graduate under Judge Glennway Dymock. Whitton’s Tabula Rasa of Haggatty, feminine bitch, eyes could be slightly darker, compact body, clean bone & tight feet, moved with good head & tail carriage.

25th April 2022. WELKS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW. 1st Graduate under Judge Frank H Whyte. Whitton’s Tabula Rasa of Haggatty. Good head shape, stop and eye. Good ears and clean neck. Liked her type, shape and condition. Good bone and most together on the move holding a firm shape with good tail carriage. Very well presented.

15th May 2022. GRAVESEND & MEDWAY TOWN CS OPEN SHOW. 2nd Open and RBOB under Judge Ian Shadbolt. Whittons Tabula Rasa of Haggatty 3 ½yo tri girl, pleasing outline, correct head planes and dentition, nice clean neck, well laid shoulders, good rear angulation, moved well. RBOB
